Fun book!

This is a fun and funny story of a guinea pig who wants to make it big in HollyWOOD. He leaves behind a note and a newspaper clipping and heads to the West Coast, only to find the glittery world of stardom is not all it's cracked up to be -- especially when there is no Fruity Nut Buffet to be had. Fake smiles and the feigned interest of strangers make Charlie realize that home it the place to be. My daughters (ages 7, 5 1/2, and 3) adore this book!

My 7 year old LOVES this book!

We got this from the library when my son was in kindergarten and he read it like 3 times a day for the few weeks we had it. The next time we went back he wanted to get it again so I just got on here and ordered it. It's one of his favorites. He laughs whenever I do the voice of Charlie. It's a great addition to your kids' home library.

Charlie Hits It Big is a big hit!!!

This story is hilarious! In my class it is loved by the children and the teachers as well. It is available as a story CD as well which adds to the humor of the book.
